Support

Your support helps keep the music playing in our community. As a 501(c)3 non-profit, Linton Chamber Music (or Linton Incorporated) relies on the financial support of our audience members and music lovers in our community to help cover the expenses not met through ticket sales alone. By making a gift to Linton Chamber Music, you are ensuring that we can continue to bring world-class musicians to our community through our Linton Chamber Music Series and Encore! Linton Series, and that we can keep offering engaging and entertaining programming for tomorrow’s music lovers through our Peanut Butter and Jam Sessions. Thank you for your support, and thank you for helping to ensure that Cincinnati can always get close to the music.

The Legacy of a Vision
In 1978, Dick Waller produced and performed a chamber music concert and used the gift of music as a “thank you” to fellow members of the First Unitarian Church on Linton Street. This concert, held in the intimacy and warmth of the stained-glassed sanctuary, was the beginning of Linton Chamber Music. For 30 years, founder Dick Waller cajoled and charmed Cincinnatians and his network of musicians to create one of the most unique chamber music series in the country. His vision of bringing together musical artists and friends to perform great music in an environment that allows audiences to experience the energy of music-making in an up-close and personal way remains key to the success of these concerts.

Dick Waller, Founding Artistic Director

Today, it has evolved into an internationally acclaimed chamber music series, attracting world-class musicians to share their love of music in these intimate concerts. Under the artistic direction of Jaime Laredo and Sharon Robinson, Linton Chamber Music continues its tradition of presenting the nest classical chamber music in inspiring settings. Linton also remains committed to grow future audiences and appreciation for this art form through its innovative children’s series, Peanut Butter and Jam Sessions.

A Lasting Gift of Music
The Linton Legacy Society creates an opportunity for supporters to give the gift of music as a lasting legacy to this community. Society membership will allow recognition of those friends who, today, are making the commitment to perpetuate the future of great chamber music by including Linton Chamber Music in their long-term financial plans. Bequests and other types of deferred gifts help expand the organization’s capacity, build a healthy endowment, and meet future challenges today.
