The Verona String Quartet and violist Jordan Bak present a program rooted in the American experience. From George Walker’s luminous Lyric for Strings and Kenji Bunch’s inventive String Circle to Dvořák’s beloved String Quintet, written during his transformative years in America, the program traces a rich thread of inspiration, identity, and place. Together, these works celebrate voices that have shaped and been shaped by the American musical landscape.
