PROGRAM VI

The virtual season closes with the celebrated Miami String Quartet performing with Eric Kim, former principal cellist of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. This vibrant program features Slavic works by Martinů and Dvořák as well as Glazunov’s treasured String Quintet.

PROGRAM V

Esteemed pianist Sandra Rivers is called back to the Linton stage to perform alongside Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra principals Stefani Matsuo and Ilya Finkelshteyn. The program features sonatas by Barber and Prokofiev as well as Schumann’s Piano Trio in d minor.

PROGRAM IV

New York City’s finest returns to the Queen City. New York Philharmonic String Quartet members Frank Huang, Sheryl Staples, Cynthia Phelps, and Carter Brey perform a program showcasing works by Schubert, Mendelssohn, Webern, and Beethoven.

Linton Chamber Music begins the year 2021 with the purity of Bach. Recognized for commanding performances delivered with dazzling virtuosity, violinist Jennifer Koh presents a very special all-Bach, solo violin program.

PROGRAM III

Artistic Directors, Jaime Laredo and Sharon Robinson return to perform with pianist, Anna Polonsky, violist, Steven Tenenbom, and double bassist, Owen Lee. This revised Live from Linton! program will include Schubert’s famous “Trout” Quintet as well as a piano quintet by Vaughan Williams.

PROGRAM II

Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center artist member, Danbi Um makes her Linton debut. The acclaimed violinist will share the stage with two of Cincinnati’s world-class musicians, cellist Ilya Finkelshteyn and pianist Ran Dank performing works by Haydn, Korngold, and Mendelssohn.*

Join us live as Artistic Directors Jaime Laredo & Sharon Robinson launch our all-online season with Cathy Meng Robinson, Hsin-Yun Huang, and Keith Robinson. The program features the Cincinnati premiere of “A Shattered Vessel”, a new work by Richard Danielpour co-commissioned by Linton Chamber Music as well as Schubert’s sublime String Quintet in C Major.
